This is a project that we were first consulted on in early 2021 and helped the owner perform budget forecasting and preliminary design. It went through architecture and final site selection and found its way back to us in late 2023 to be bid out and built. We are exceptionally happy with the results and believe they showcase Omega's abilities and attention to detail.

Why OMEGA was the right contractor for the job: 

Two reasons- the first being this structure required a lot of design considerations for internal MEP and hanging fixtures, and we have the experience to incorporate those while keeping the budget in check, which pleased the owner. The second reason is the permits took a very long time to acquire from Prince George's county and once they were in hand, it was very close to when the owner wanted to be open. Upon their request to accelerate the schedule, we were able to put additional manpower on the job and get the main building erected in 1 week and under roof within 3 weeks, which allowed other trades to get a huge head start and pick up time. They made their opening date and were able to start turning revenue on time.

What challenges was OMEGA faced with on this job?

​This was a very tight site with little room to maneuver, particularly with principal sitework going on during building erecting, but we developed a logistics plan to stay organized and no major hiccups occurred. We firmly believe in making a plan, along with a backup plan, and being as prepared as possible.
