Omega was contacted by another local GC to furnish and erect a small 1,500 square foot storage building to house fire safety systems including a massive water tank for a sprinkler system.

What challenges was OMEGA faced with on this job?

​The main use and purpose of this building is to house a 20,000 gallon water tank used for a sprinkler system. Tanks like these are no small object at a height of 10 feet and an empty weight of 18,000 lbs, the tank had to be set prior to building erection. Carefully maneuvering materials and equipment around this tank was crucial to this job and presented a challenge from day one. Nonetheless, our skilled group of subs was able to get it done safely and properly for a smooth build.
