MATERIALS & STORAGE BUILDING 1 & 2 | 3,953 & 4,250 SQUARE FT

CARROLL MOTOR FUELS
BALTIMORE, MD

This project started as an idea by Howard Phelps of Carroll Fuels to house their burgeoning DEF division and ended up turning into multiple projects to fully realize the vision. We designed a building customized for loading/unloading of specialized trucks and housing DEF tanks. And a few months after it was completed, Carroll called to say they liked the building so much they wanted to expand it! OMEGA has built a great partnership and friendship with Carroll, completed numerous projects together and we look forward to the next one.

Why OMEGA was the right contractor for the job:

We like puzzles, and this one certainly was. They had an existing concrete pad, tanks that had to fit inside a certain way, a DEF delivery boom system and a specific traffic flow desired onsite. OMEGA came up with a concept and Carroll loved it immediately.

What challenges was OMEGA faced with on this job?

Uneven existing concrete, some of the equipment already installed before we erected the steel, and steady wind coming off Baltimore Harbor. But the Carroll team is so great to work with, we enjoyed the challenges.
