3dB Labs

This project was presented to us in early 2023 after one of our many industry colleagues referred us to 3dB Labs. The owner's were looking for a secondary space in Maryland to compliment their main office in Cincinnati, OH.  We were pleased to be referred and chosen for this high-end office renovation featuring custom finishes throughout such as custom base trim molding, upgraded LED bathroom mirrors, Dyson hand dryers, matte black fixtures, and custom cabinetry. We demoed the entire back half of the space to create a receiving area with epoxy non-slip flooring and a roll-up overhead door, as well as a large training room featuring in-floor electrical boxes and overhead cable tray. Though small, this space did not lack in scope, from electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, framing, glazing, flooring, paint and even window tinting. Throughout this project, we were proud to be able to deliver and execute for a client who was numerous states away through meticulous project management and oversight from our team.

Why OMEGA was the right contractor for the job?

We pride ourselves on being a contractor you can trust. Being hundreds of miles away from a space that is being renovated can be unsettling to an owner. But with our ability to clearly communicate, execute, and ultimately be trustworthy, we were able to ease that stress from the owner and deliver a great and refreshing space for their continued growth.

What challenges was OMEGA faced with on this job?

On this particular job, we had to do some things in a different order than we are typically used to, one being to put the flooring in before all of the trades were wrapped up, leaving final finishes the potential to get damaged and dirty. We avoided this by sticking to meticulous cleaning at the end of each day, protective measures on all finishes, and extra rounds of touch up to make sure everything was 100% by the time we turned over the keys.
